Who we are

Satarkar LIVE (satarkar.in) is operated by Sahil Inamdar from Pune and Satara, Maharashtra ("Satarkar LIVE", "we", "us"). This policy explains what personal information we collect through our student career guidance service, how we use and share it, and the choices you have. By submitting the guidance form and ticking the consent box, you agree to the uses described below.

Information we collect

Information you give us:

• Your name and mobile / WhatsApp number
• Your district, education, and the courses or fields you are interested in
• Optional details: what describes you, preferred learning mode, preferred location, and your message
• Your consent to be contacted, and the date you gave it
• Anything you tell us later in calls, WhatsApp chats or emails, and notes our team records about your enquiry
• If you ask us to review a class or institute: its name, city, the course, and your question
• If you ask us to check a job, internship or other opportunity: the company and role, any links or contact details you share, whether payment was asked for, and your question
• If you give us feedback: your name, optional city, your rating and comment, and whether you agree to it being shown on our website

Information collected automatically:

• How you reached us — the campaign link you used (for example an Instagram Reel), the referring website and landing page
• The type of device you used (phone, tablet or computer), but not its detailed identifiers
• A one-way scrambled (hashed) version of your internet address, used to prevent spam and repeated submissions
• Anonymous usage events such as page visits, form starts, form submissions and button clicks

How we use your information

We use your information for the following purposes:

• To contact you by call, WhatsApp, SMS or email about your enquiry
• To understand your background and suggest suitable courses, career directions and training options
• To refer you to partner institutes and training providers, and to follow up on counselling, demo sessions and admissions
• To send you information about courses, workshops, events, scholarships, and job or internship opportunities that may be relevant to you
• To maintain records of referrals, admissions and referral fees with our partner institutes
• To research classes and institutes you ask about, share what we find with you, and publish review videos — without ever telling the institute who asked
• To review job, internship and other opportunities you send us and tell you what we find — without telling the company who asked
• To improve how we help students, and — only if you tick the box — to show your feedback on our website with your first name, last initial and city. Your feedback is never edited, and you can ask us to hide it at any time
• To manage and follow up on your enquiry, and keep a history so you do not have to repeat yourself
• To measure which of our videos, campaigns and pages work, and to improve our content and services
• To prepare internal reports and analysis
• To prevent spam, fraud and misuse, and to keep our systems secure
• To comply with the law and respond to lawful requests from authorities

Sharing your information

We may share your name, contact number, district, education, course interests and enquiry details with:

• Partner institutes and training providers, so they can counsel you, arrange demos and process admissions for the courses you are interested in
• Service providers who help us run this service — such as hosting, database, messaging and analytics providers — who may only use it to provide services to us
• Government or legal authorities, where required by law
• A successor organisation, if Satarkar LIVE is reorganised, merged or transferred, in which case this policy continues to apply to your information

Partner institutes are independent organisations with their own privacy practices. We do not sell your personal information to data brokers or to advertisers.

Anonymised and aggregated information

We may combine and anonymise information so that it no longer identifies any individual — for example, "most enquiries this month came from Satara district for Data Analytics". Anonymised and aggregated information is not personal information, and we may use and share it for any purpose, including research, reports, marketing and partnerships.

Analytics and cookies

We record anonymous events — page visits, form starts, submissions and button clicks — using a random identifier kept in your browser for the current visit only. We do not use advertising cookies or third-party advertising trackers on this service.

How long we keep your information

We keep your information for as long as it is needed for the purposes above — including guiding you, following up on opportunities, and maintaining referral, admission and referral-fee records — and in any case for up to 36 months after our last interaction with you, unless a longer period is required by law. After that it is deleted or anonymised.

Your rights and choices

• Access — ask what information we hold about you
• Correction — ask us to correct or update your information
• Deletion — ask us to delete your information, subject to records we must keep by law
• Withdraw consent — ask us to stop contacting you or sharing your information; this does not affect anything done before you withdrew
• Opt out of opportunity messages at any time, while still receiving replies about an open enquiry

Security

Your information is stored in a secured database with access limited to authorised Satarkar LIVE team members who sign in to view it. Submissions are validated on our server before anything is saved. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure, but we take reasonable steps to protect your information.

Changes to this policy

We may update this policy. The date at the top shows the latest version. Significant changes will be shown on this page.
